FAQ

Accordion Block v2
  • Call 911 and seek emergency care for sudden or unexpected medical problems, including:

    • Amputation of limbs or deep wounds with severe bleeding
    • Chest pain (suspected heart attack or stroke)
    • Inhaled smoke or chemicals
    • Major burns to the face or large areas of the body
    • Physical or sexual assault
    • Poisoning, overdoses and suicidal behavior
    • Pregnancy problems over 20 weeks, including labor, bleeding, fluid leaks or the fetus has stopped moving
    • Severe head injuries with loss of consciousness or new seizures
    • Sudden confusion, weakness, dizziness, numbness, severe headache or difficulty speaking or breathing
    • Vomiting blood
    OR
  • We want to help keep our patients and caregivers healthy and safe. Here are our current guidelines for when visitors can attend appointments with patients at all clinics:
      • Two parents or guardians may visit the clinic with a patient under age 18.
      • One adult and one caregiver may visit the clinic with an adult patient.
      • Two adults or caregivers may visit with a patient who has issues with learning, special needs or physical limitations and needs help going to visits.
      • One sibling of a patient under age 18 may visit along with a parent or guardian.
      • Anyone with a fever, cough or breathing problem cannot attend the visit.
      • You may bring an interpreter with you.

If you have visitors who don’t meet the above guidelines, they will need to wait outside the clinic. Thank you for your understanding.

      OR
    • It depends, and we’ll do our best to help you quickly. Typical waits are 15 minutes to an hour. Often our walk-in clinics can see you faster than an emergency room (ER).

We’ll do our best to see you in a timely manner. But we may need to see people with more severe illnesses or injuries first.

      OR
    • You’ll see a medical doctor, a nurse practitioner, a physician assistant or a doctor of osteopathic medicine. All have a great deal of skill and knowledge. Each is devoted to making lives better through health, healing and doing what’s right for each patient.

      OR
    • Check with your health plan for details and copay amounts. We bill urgent care visits as an office visit, not ER care. Walk-in clinic care tends to cost patients less than an ER visit.

View our price sheet for current prices for primary care and walk-in clinic services. These include physician visits, preventive visits, preventive screenings and other services.

      OR
    • You can get urgent care at our walk-in clinics even if you don’t have a primary care provider (PCP). If you don’t have a PCP, we think it’s important to find one. We’re happy to help you with this.

You want a doctor who knows you and your unique health care needs. Everyone is different. For the best health, you should see a PCP at least once a year.
